WHAT HAPPENED LAST SUMMER: A life-lately entry

It’s quite embarrassing that it took me three months to finally finish this blog entry. That’s why i’ll just go straight on what really happened last summer…

It all started when we went on a vacation in Baguio. It is a tradition in our family to go somewhere around that time of the year (which I’m not going to mention for security purposes) to relax and enjoy several days of free time. This year, we explored Baguio like we’ve never done before. We even visited two of their hospitals since my abuela and my brother got really sick. We also went to the most frequently visited spots in Baguio, including La Pressa or the set of the show Forevermore. All in all, I really had fun on our recent trip to the city of pines despite of what happened to the group.

For the next picture, it is actually the PS or the Professional School building of Angeles University Foundation where I inquired for my master’s degree.

On the third picture, well… it’s our picture together when we went on a date at Skyranch Pampanga. That day, he made my teenage dream into reality when we tried their ferris wheel.

This summer, USTH popped my IV cherry! I’ve always thought that I will never get admitted in the hospital unless I’m giving birth (Though even that can be avoided). But since it’s a part of the preparation for a major operation, I had no choice but to accept my fate (I’m getting dramatic here, lol). It’s a really good thing that everything went well.

Lastly, for the celebration of the birthday of both my father and brother, we stayed at Fontana in Clark.

That’s it! *insert three smileys here*

Life lately

  • Welcome to the christian world, Iain! The photo was actually taken on the same day my baby cousin was christened.
  • Since I have already introduced my ABComm family on my previous Life-lately updates. It is about time that I introduce my other family and one of the huge blessings that I received last year, my BSIT/ACT family.
  • On the last hours of February 14, I still managed to come up with a cheesy pampa-kilig moves for someone.
  • For our team building and company outing this year, we flew to Boracay for 4 days and 3 nights! It was indeed an early summer treat from the management.
  • I usually give names to my gadgets and other stuff. So for my new pomelo-ish Nokia 225 phone, I named her Serena.
  • Last monday, my grandmother was admitted in the hospital due to the complications with her heart. So thank God because everything is okay now.

Hey! I’m currently having a serious problem with how I’d been expressing myself or my thoughts lately so I haven’t been posting anything here. But hopefully by the time I’ll post something again, I won’t have to worry about it anymore. So here’s a short update of how I’d been doing these past few months;

  • After five years of friendship, it’s really ironic that this is our first time to celebrate her birthday together. Though, we always celebrate it with friends, but I’m not sure if that counts.
  • For this year’s strategic planning of our company, my colleagues and I (with my family, of course) had few days of fun in Hongkong.
  • During this year’s sports fest, I was in a different team with my closest colleagues. But what the heck, that didn’t stop us from having a photo session together.
  • Unexpected date with Nan Feng is definitely one of my favorite among the things that happened these past months.
  • HAPPY TEACHER’S DAY TO ME!
  • Meat Plus + The Best of Me + CBTL’s chocolate chip cookie + A good company
  • Driving like a boss, well, not really.
  • Catching up with him while having dinner inside a double-decker bus was really good to my heart.

My very first “life lately” post consists of the following worth remembering events:

  • Our department’s very first attempt on having a team building activity. Though I must say that the activity we had was very successful.
  • It was my first time to make my own fruit salad and I was really hands on in doing everything. Unfortunately, I had put too much condensed milk (is it condensed?) and nestle cream so it came off a lot sweeter than I expected, AND, I also poured a can of pineapple juice which I though was totally normal since my mom said so. But in my defense, I’m just being a good daughter and a really bad listener ‘cause what she actually said was pineapple chunks, not juice. Juice and Chunks. Ha.
  • My biggest investment yet, a 43k worth laptop. (I named him, Augustus, by the way)
  • Watching “She’s Dating a Gangster” on cinemas with my brother twice in a row. And yes, another first!
  • Meeting up with Nan Feng. Though Hannah and Kris were also with us.
  • Tanging Pagsamba" in THE Philippine Arena - It’s definitely one of the highlights of my life.
  • ABC definitely ruled the party last July 25 (Acquaintance 2014)
  • AYANGCO FAMILY REUNION!

That’s it for now, guyth. 'Till my next "life lately” post - which I truly enjoy doing, I just wish that I can be more wordy next time.
